Donations come in many forms

Donated tools.jpg

We recently received a donation of surgical equipment, which has now made its way to Mbwa Wa Africa Animal Rescue in Tanzania. With so many surgical procedures required - from sterilisation to life-saving operations - donations of this nature are critical and greatly appreciated!

The equipment was provided to us by Dr Liz Welsh, Clinical Lead at Vets Now in Glasgow, a pet emergency hospital. Dr Welsh, who previously worked and taught at the veterinary school of the University of Edinburgh, also donated a library of books, adding to the training materials available to the team in Tanzania.

This is a great example to show why we are always seeking to make new connections with veterinary professionals across the world.
