Volunteer veterinary nurse Emily arrived at our base in Arusha in January this year, where she’ll be spending six weeks in the Tanzanian sunshine supporting the team at Mbwa Wa Africa Animal Rescue.

Our team seized a window of opportunity to continue the fight to control rabies on Mafia Island, off the coast of mainland Tanzania.
